WATKINS STUDIO THEATER
Join Rachel Maxann and her ukulele for a toe-tapping session that will introduce little ones to roots music. A master of musical fusion, Rachel seamlessly blends the soulful rhythms of blues, the heartfelt melodies of folk, and a dash of vintage indie rock. Rachel has performed across the globe on cruise ships, at major festivals, and recently with the Black Opry. We will finish by writing a song together in a “Mad Lib” method that will inspire both children and adults.
Now in its 29th season, this program introduces children ages 8 and under to a variety of genres including music, dance, and multicultural arts in an informal concert setting. Parents and children are invited to move and groove in these highly interactive performances held on scheduled Saturdays in the Watkins Studio Theater or on the main stage. Tickets are Pay What You Can!
