Unfortunately, Jazz in the Box with Samara Joy on Friday, Feb. 17 is cancelled. We have just heard from her agent—she is exhausted and on vocal rest per doctor's orders after all the Grammy excitement and is cancelling her engagement with us, as well as all the others she has planned in the immediate future. We received the following from her -
Following one of the most incredible weeks of my life, I hate to tell you all that I’m under the weather. Although I’m going to be just fine within a couple of weeks, based on doctor’s orders, we are going to have to cancel my February 17 concert at the Germantown Performing Arts Center.
I am looking SO FORWARD to coming back to perform for you all soon!

In light of this, we are obviously working hard to reschedule, and if/when we do, it will be a larger concert in the main stage format, rather than at a Jazz in the Box, to allow for more people to attend.
If you have already purchased tickets to Samara's Jazz in the Box concert, you have a couple of options. You can either get a refund for those tickets immediately or wait to see if/when we reschedule, at which time we will reserve Premium seating at the new show for you and NOT charge you any fee increase (we anticipate tickets for the new show will be significantly higher than what you paid for the Jazz in the Box tickets). If the concert never happens, we will reach out to you and issue a refund or gift certificate, depending on your preference.
